One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story and how you got here.

Finding balance is hard and we all need help sometimes. Therapy is a powerful experience to better understand our emotions and the impact of our past on our present behaviors and lives. Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I’m here to support you on your journey to self-discovery and healing.

As a licensed professional counselor, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve mental and emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping you develop tools to overcome challenges, explore how early life experiences have shaped you, and what has led you to seek therapy now. My goal is to create a safe and caring space where you can express your thoughts and emotions without any judgment. Together we will build the skills and resilience you need to achieve growth and make changes in your life. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. We all have trauma in our lives and one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story and how you got here.

I am glad you are here and I look forward to your call!

How can I help?

Working in a variety of settings over the last 20 years has given me exposure to and the opportunity to treat, a wide range of mental health symptoms. As a wife and mother of two myself I can also appreciate the joys and struggles that come with having a family.

I help clients starting with a Rogerian lens- meeting them where they are. Then focusing on their strengths, joining them in their emotions, and integrating an empathy-based Rogerian /cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed techniques into my work (TF-CBT) addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship issues. We all have a trauma in our lives, big or small, that once acknowledged, will help us thrive. We will identify and understand emotions, cycles, and patterns that are not working and work towards feeling better and improving your quality of life. You deserve to be happy!
